I was born in St. Petersburg, where I graduated from the State Institute of Culture and Arts with a degree in art appraisal.
My primary techniques are watercolor (watercolor abstractions, anthropomorphic portraits, and various fantasy subjects) and oil painting.
I usually begin with choosing a color; this is an important and almost always impulsive step in my work. I focus more on feelings and don't know in advance what the final appearance of the paintings will be. All the images and characters emerge during the process, in which I immerse myself completely.

It can be compared to meditation, a journey into the subconscious.
